September goals

With a new month, comes a new print in the Lilly Planner.
So it’s been a while. Blogging and posting take a lot of time and I hate the fact that I’ve had none! I miss it. I miss being creative and crafty, so unfortunately that’s one goal from last month I was not able to accomplish.
Besides that, I am so proud to day that August was a very productive month for myself. I organized my room and my desk and I watched soooo much less Netflix. I also was on top of my homework and studying. I may only have been in class for two weeks but I’ve had a large amount of homework in every class and finished it days in advance.
My favorite accomplishment of all is how healthy I’ve been. I went grocery shopping and I’ve been taking such good care of myself. I’ve been running and going to the gym every other day and I just feel so much better about myself.
Now enough about last month, I want to get talking about the future. This month I’m planning

1. Be more involved around my resident hall
2. Continue to study hard!
3. Run even more
4. Clean up and organize documents and photos on my computer, iPad and phone (yet again)
5. Water color paint even more
6. Detail paint my white drawer shelf
7. Head to Goodwill with some old clothes

Move in at the beginning of the month was so stressful but I’m happy to say that I’ve befriended my wonderful suite mates and roommate. I’ve gotten to know a lot of my residents not only on my floor but throughout all four buildings. My classes are hard, but I am a hard worker and I don’t give up. I hope everyone had a great start to the new school year!

August Goals

It may be a week late, but happy August! and even more so, happy almost Friday!! Friday’s are my absolute favorite days, however this weekend will be anything but that. Why you ask? Tomorrow I will be completely moved out of my temporary room and into my permanent room and then Saturday and Sunday are move in. So that means for me a 48 hour work weekend. It may tire me out entirely, but I am truly looking forward to spending more time and getting to know my coworkers even better, especially with some of our management crew moving next month. So with school coming up and an even newer element of student residents added to my job, I figured I would make another month of goals.

August Goals
1. eat healthier
2. head to the gym more often
3. study LOTS
4. be even more organized
5. create more
6. clean up and organize documents and pictures my computer, iPad, and phone (again)
7. get to know all of my residents (or try)
8. Watch less Netflix and tv

With a roommate and two suite mates (who I do not know at all) moving in, I figured I’d add being organized to the list again.
I’m really looking forward to this year. It will be an entirely new experience and I am certainly up for the challenge.

I wish you all a great month,

July goals

20140701-141228-51148852.jpg
Being that July is so close to being upon us, I thought I’d give monthly goals a try! July is bringing a lot of change to me. This week I’m moving into the dorms on campus to start my CA training. Not only that, but this week is Independence Day as well, and my family and I are taking a little road trip! We’re headed to Boulder, CO for a few days to relax and enjoy the holiday.
I figured setting some goals formally would help me stick to them and really work hard. I’m excited for July and what’s in store for me!

July Goals
Take more time to sit down and read
Watch less Netflix and tv
Clean up and organize documents and pictures my computer, iPad, and phone
Be more organized in general
Start running more again
Spend more time letting myself be insanely creative
Set a budget and SAVE
Do a social media free weekend
Try something/anything new

And that’s all. Happy July to you all!
